The overwhelming majority of Walmart's point-of-sale transactions are conducted using cash, so the retailer decided to extend that option online. Upon selecting the "pay with cash" option, shoppers will be prompted to print a receipt. They can then bring that receipt into a store within 48 hours and pay with cash at a register. The item can be picked up in-store, shipped to the location or sent to the consumer at home.<\/p>\n
As the news source notes, Walmart is the first brand to embrace this payment method, allowing customers without credit cards or other ways to pay online to still shop through the web.
