\nBill Haslam, the governor of Tennessee, told NBC News that he believes the bill would only be “collecting taxes already owed.” The National Retail Federation is supporting the bill in an effort to combat “showrooming.” Showrooming is where a customer will go to a physical store to look at a product and then go home to purchase it online in order to avoid tax.<\/p>\n
