According to recent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.retailpro.com\/Solutions\" target=\"_self\" class=\"dnautolink\">retail reports<\/a>, customers are increasingly using tablets to seek information and make purchases. Therefore, merchants should make sure their websites and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.retailpro.com\/Solutions\" target=\"_self\" class=\"dnautolink\">ecommerce software<\/a> adapt well to the platform.<\/p>\n<p>Javelin Strategy &amp; Research&#039;s study revealed that tablets accounted for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.javelinstrategy.com\/news\/1472\/92\/Tablet-Payments-Surge-as-Overall-Mobile-Retail-Sales-Top-60-Billion\/d,pressRoomDetail\" target=\"_blank\">more than half of mobile commerce<\/a> in 2013, surpassing smartphones for the first time. Customers spent $28.7 billion dollars on tablets, which was more than&nbsp;five times the amount of tablet payments in 2012.
